Best Eight Korean Dramas on Netflix

Updated: Aug 24, 2023

The following eight dramas are in no specific order, but to give some context to this list, i must admit to not liking vampire movies, stories about rich privileged Korean families, boy meets girl k-dramas, or story lines with an over abundance of graphic violence. As with any list there is a fair degree of bias, if like me you prefer "feel good" stories, i highly recommend the following eight Korean Netflix shows, i could happily watch all these eight again and again.

Chief of Staff

Behind the scenes in the National Assembly, chief of staff Jang Tae-jun uses his power to influence decisions while following his own ambitions.

The King: Eternal Monarch

Stranger or Forest of Secrets

While looking into the case, he must fight rampant corruption within the police department that continuously undermines the investigation. Si-mok vows to find the perpetrator within two months, but rumors about his violent nature pop up and lead to questions about his ability to lead the case. He eventually sets out to meet the person who he believes is the real murderer.

Vincenzo

During a visit to his motherland, a Korean-Italian mafia lawyer gives a conglomerate a taste of its own medicine with a side of justice.
